The hillfort, also known as Valiūniškis Hillfort, is situated on an isolated hill and features a trapezoidal-shaped platform, with its northwestern section elevated by up to 1.5 meters. The slopes are steep, ranging in height from 4 to 12 meters.
Over time, the hillfort has been significantly damaged by plowing, excavation pits, and the former construction of a triangulation tower. The northeastern slope and the edge of the platform were further affected by quarrying activities. Today, the hillfort is overgrown with pine trees, adding a natural charm to the site.
Dating indicates that the hillfort was in use from the late 1st millennium BCE to the early 1st millennium CE. It is an important archaeological heritage site that reflects the settlements of the time and attracts history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
