This burial mound, with a natural embankment stretching along its eastern edge, is also known as the Giant’s Grave and is a significant archaeological site in the Rokiškis district. In 1906, it was explored alongside the Norkūnai and Radišiai burial mounds by priest and ethnographer Juozas Žiogas. The site revealed a black cultural layer, indicating intense human activity. Excavations uncovered human bones and around 40 artifacts, underscoring its historical importance.
