In Šniukščiai village, Mosėdis subdistrict, Skuodo district, the Šniukščiai Oak impresses with its girth—measuring 3.50 m in circumference at 1.3 m height. This oak, growing along the boundary of the former Galdikas homestead plot, commemorates the local village history. During the collective farm era, the active chairman Jokubauskas, along with the community, built a farm using clay, bricks, and concrete. The construction was led by the renowned master Dvarionas, with organization from brigade leader Jomantas. This oak not only symbolizes local history but is also a protected natural heritage site of Skuodo district, attracting tourists and history enthusiasts.
