In Paluobė village, Ylakių subdistrict, Skuodo district, a multi-trunked linden tree stands as a unique natural heritage site. This linden, with 18 trunks, is notable not only for its size but also for its fascinating history. During the collective farm era, there were plans to cut down the tree, but local resident and nature lover Juozapas Petrikas staunchly defended it, ensuring its preservation. For this reason, the tree is also known as "Petrikas' Multi-Trunked Linden." It is one of the most interesting attractions in the Skuodo region, drawing enthusiasts of nature and history.
