In Aleksandrija subdistrict, Klauseikiai village, a majestic linden tree has been growing for over 150 years, with a trunk circumference at 1.3 meters high reaching 4.32 meters. This natural marvel is a botanical heritage site in Skuodas district, echoing history. The linden was planted near a homestead that housed several generations of the Gureckas family, and is now managed by the P. Veitas family. In the past, this spot was famous for hosting popular May celebrations, drawing the local community together. It is not only a natural monument but also a tourist attraction, bearing witness to Lithuania's unique cultural and natural heritage.
