The juniper located in Klauseikiai village, near the Skuodas-Mažeikiai road, is a natural monument that captivates with its size and history. This impressive plant, reaching a height of 5.5 meters and a diameter of 0.3 meters, and covering an area of 4 square meters, used to grow on the Buivydas homestead. After relocating the homestead and draining the fields, the juniper remained solitary in the fields, becoming a focal point of the landscape. In 1985, it was recognized as a local natural heritage site, and in 2019, it was declared a protected natural heritage by the Skuodas district municipality. This unique location makes an excellent stop while traveling around the Skuodas area.
