In the Kazliškis subdistrict, within the Notigalė marshes, stands a restored partisans' bunker that commemorates the autumn of 1946 when twelve fighters from the Pandėlys and Panemunėlis areas took refuge here. Prepared for winter, the partisans had stockpiled food supplies, but on December 12, they were betrayed by a local teacher who led Soviet officers to their hideout. All the partisans perished. In 1996, the bunker was restored and became a historical site, bearing witness to the tragic history of the freedom fights. This unique location is accessible to adventurous travelers, though proper attire is recommended due to the marshy terrain.
