There is little information about the mentioned hillfort in historical records. Its northern part was destroyed in the early 20th century during the construction of a church, and later during the interwar period due to gravel extraction. Now, only the southeastern slope, covered with pines, remains. At the bottom of this slope, there are gardens formed in the site of a former quarry, which is about 40 meters in diameter.
An interesting fact is that nearby, in an area of approximately one hectare, an ancient settlement was discovered. Archaeological excavations conducted in 1965 and 1978 uncovered remains of buildings, hearths, as well as incised and rough pottery, and iron slag. These findings date the hillfort to the end of the 1st millennium BC to the middle of the 1st millennium AD.
