This church is an impressive architectural monument located in the center of Skuodas town, on the eastern side of the main square. The current church, constructed by Count Sapiega, was completed in 1821, with the first renovations taking place in 1924. During the post-war period, the church was only opened for special occasions, such as major Lutheran celebrations and funerals. In 1972, it underwent restoration and remains the oldest building in Skuodas. Today, visitors have the opportunity to explore this historic structure through a virtual tour.
