Located in Mosėdis, the homestead of Dr. Vaclovas Intas, which has become a stone museum, amazes with its unique stone and tree compositions that began to take shape in 1957. Visitors can admire ponds created by Dr. Intas, adorned with colorful water lilies, as well as a park filled with decorative trees and shrubs. The stones were collected from various corners of the world—from Lithuania to Ukraine. The homestead features captivating compositions like "Castle Towers," "Volcano Crater," and "Pagan Temple," resembling a tropical garden that attracts visitors from across the country. In 2009, the homestead was included in the Register of Cultural Heritage.

Dr. Vaclovas Intas (1925–2007) established the stone museum homestead in Mosėdis, a site known for its unique history and exceptional landscape architecture. In 1957, as he began to organize the grounds of the local hospital, he undertook major transformations: digging ponds by hand, which now house one of the most beautiful collections of water lilies, and creating a park of decorative trees and shrubs. The most remarkable compositions—“Castle Towers,” “Volcano Crater,” and “Pagan Temple”—form an exotic environment where impressive stones from around the world are displayed. This unique homestead, with its ponds and the “Alka” hill, has become a cultural tourism destination and
was added to Lithuania’s Register of Cultural Heritage in 2009. The homestead also bears witness to the history of the Jewish community in Mosėdis. In the late 17th century, the first Jewish merchants settled here, and the community grew during the 18th century with the development of markets. However, during World War II, Jewish families were detained and executed in Skuodas and Kretinga. In 1991, in memory of the Mosėdis Jewish community, a memorial was erected in the cemetery through the initiative of Jakovas Bunka, and in 1996, the site was included in the Register of Cultural Heritage. This significant historical place remains an important cultural heritage site for visitors in Mosėdis.
