The ancient hillfort, located in a strategically important area, reveals traces of life from the beginning of the 1st millennium, with remains of incised pottery providing insight into the daily life and crafts of the inhabitants of that time. The hillfort's platform, notable for its rectangular shape measuring 90×40 meters, is oriented in a NW-SE direction. The slopes, though eroded due to human activity, maintain a moderate steepness up to 30 meters in height, except for the southeastern slope, which is very gentle and barely reaches 1 meter in height.

Despite its significantly disturbed structure due to plowing,
this site remains a crucial witness to our past. The northeastern slope has retained the protection of a mixed forest, while other areas are overgrown with young alders, illustrating the interaction between nature and historical heritage.
Access to the hillfort is relatively straightforward. It is reachable by driving along the Airėnai-Bielazariškiai road and turning left at the cemetery. The road continues up the slope to the high ground, leading visitors directly to the historic site, just 100 meters from the power transmission lines, providing an easy yet significant connection to ancient times.
