Narvydžiai cemetery in the Skuodas district is a significant historical site where Lithuanian partisans, freedom fighters who perished in clashes with the Soviet army and local collaborators in 1948 and 1950, are laid to rest. These relocated partisans participated in armed resistance within the Alka and Karda units of the Žemaičiai district, opposing Soviet occupation. Notable figures include Pranas Liutikas-Bizūnas, deputy commander of the Alka unit, Adolfas Liutikas-Plienas, Ignas Kaupas-Žaibas, and Silvestras Skurvydas-Žvaigždė. Augustinas Baužys-Šubertas, deputy leader of the Salantai detachment of the Karda unit, along with other partisans like Kazys Daržinskas-Narūnas
and Kazimiera Jonušaitė, a liaison maintaining vital connections, are also buried here.
This cemetery became a resting place for partisans after 1990, when their remains were transferred from nearby forests in the Šačiai and Lenkimai elderships of the Skuodas district, symbolizing their struggle and memory. In 2016, the graves of Lithuanian partisans in Narvydžiai were officially registered in the Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage with the unique code 38569, ensuring the protection and special recognition of this site as an object of historical significance. It attracts visitors interested in Lithuania's history, the partisan movement, and the legacy of freedom struggles.
