In this renovated building, where the prominent Dzūkija educator Motiejus Gustaitis lived from 1924 to 1927, visitors can explore his impressive legacy. Gustaitis, known as a clergyman, poet, pioneer of symbolism in Lithuania, writer, musicologist, linguist, translator, educator, and Doctor of Philosophy, made a significant impact on Lithuanian culture. Exhibitions in the house utilize modern technology, allowing visitors to delve deeper into M. Gustaitis' life and works through photographs, books, letters, and personal memorabilia. Educational activities such as the "Poem Puzzle" and an interactive crossword provide visitors with engaging ways to explore Gustaitis’ contributions to education and culture. As of July 1, 2022, visiting the Motiejus Gustaitis Memorial House has required a fee, ensuring the maintenance of high-quality exhibitions and professional services.
