The grave of Kotryna Daukantienė, mother of Simonas Daukantas, located in the churchyard of Lenkimai Church, is a historical monument with significant cultural value. The gravestone, bearing an inscription detailing family history written by S. Daukantas himself, was transported from St. Petersburg to Lithuania on a three-horse cart in just two days. The pink granite plaque commemorates the years of Kotryna Daukantienė's life and her hardships: she survived the horrors of war, became a widow, and diligently raised her children, two of whom went on to higher education. This historical grave is listed in the cultural heritage registry (unique code 11169) as an object of exceptional importance.
