Covering an area of 12 hectares, Vainežeris Manor Park is one of the most visited sites in the Lazdijai district and the Veisiejai Regional Park. The park is home to a variety of native and non-native trees, including maples, ashes, wych elms, gray firs, and European larches. The site, once a manor in the 13th century, became an impressive park about 200 years ago, although it has been naturally maintained by nature for the past 50 years. Vainežeris Lake divides the park in half, creating three sections: the southwestern part (main entrance, trails, parking lot, informational stand), the lake surroundings, and the eastern part, which includes the Tree Museum and a nature trail. Since 2007, the park has been protected as a natural heritage site.
