The Elveriškės Mound, along with an ancient settlement, is situated on a separate conical hill. Its steep slopes reach heights of 5 to 12 meters, and the upper part is reinforced. The platform at the top of the mound is approximately 30 meters long and 20 meters wide, surrounded by an earthen rampart 0.5 to 1.5 meters high, providing additional protection. In the 1960s and 1970s, notable archaeologists P. Kulikauskas and V. Daugutis conducted research in this area. Archaeological excavations uncovered various fragments of fired pottery, some of which were decorated with impressed line patterns.
