The 7-meter tall sculpture "The Tree of Aukštaitija" was created to commemorate the Year of Aukštaitija. The idea for this project was conceived by Erikas Druskinas, and the renowned Lithuanian sculptor Kęstutis Musteikis brought it to life. This sculpture symbolizes the Tree of Life, which connects its roots to the past while its branches and leaves reach toward the future. The three leaf shapes reflect the symbolism of the past, present, and future, inspired by the mythology, fairy tales, legends, traditions, and the power of light in the beliefs of Aukštaitija.
