In 2003, a cozy square was established in Utena, quickly becoming a favorite spot for relaxation and socializing. In 2004, the city was adorned with a unique sculpture, Rainbow, created by sculptor Vladas Urbonavičius, a laureate of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize. This avant-garde style sculpture, made from over 100 stones, weighs more than 3 tons and reaches a height of 4 meters. It is supported by metal spokes weighing a total of 4.5 tons, ensuring both stability and a unique design.
The sculpture not only beautifies Utena but has also become a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors and locals the opportunity to enjoy art and the harmony of nature. The square with Rainbow is an excellent place to relax and explore Utena's cultural heritage.
