Utena is a city where green spaces provide a unique opportunity for walking or cycling, connecting the city center with its surroundings. After renovations in 2015, Krašuona Park became an integral part of Utena's greenery system, linking the city center with the residential neighborhoods of Krašuona. The park features pedestrian and cycling paths, bridges, as well as sports and leisure areas designed for both active and peaceful relaxation. A dog walking and training area attracts animal lovers from across the city. The park is a unique blend of history and modernity, as it is located on the site of the former Utena manor estate. In 1990, to commemorate the restoration of Lithuania's independence, an Oak Grove of Revival was planted in the park, and in 2006, leading up to the millennium celebration of Lithuania's name, the park was enhanced with the Millennium Oak Grove of Lithuania.
