In 1879, the Vyžuonėliai estate, located by the Vyžuona River, was acquired by General Vladimir Veriovkin, who named it "Blagodat" (Blessing). This estate became significant due to the famous artist Marianna Veriovkina, a Russian-born German avant-garde painter (1860–1938), who began her creative journey here. To this day, the Vyžuonėliai estate park, a wooden residential house adorned with decorative carvings, and several farm buildings, including a carriage house, stables, and barns, have been preserved. The atelier of Marianna Veriovkina remains as well, being the only surviving 19th-century artist's studio in Lithuania.
