In 1989, a unique hanging pedestrian bridge was constructed in Viekšniai, connecting the banks of the Venta River. This bridge, which attracts both locals and visitors, is known for its interesting tradition: when crossing the bridge for the first time, one must make a wish and, upon reaching the midpoint, throw a small stone into the river to help the wish come true.
