The Šeimaties Russian Old Believers' prayer house is an important cultural and religious heritage site. After the 1863 uprising, Old Believers settled here, having been relocated as part of the Russianization policy. They built a wooden prayer house, symbolizing their faith.
Currently, the prayer house is closed, but its history is full of changes and mysteries. The present building has a wooden rectangular plan, with a small octagonal tower topped with an Old Believer's cross. The church features a traditional layout, with the prayer hall divided into men's and women's sections.
Next to the prayer house are the Šeimaties Old Believers' cemetery, which further reflects the community's heritage. Although the church is not listed as a cultural monument, it remains significant to tourists interested in religious heritage and culture.
