The Viekšniai Water Mill is one of the main attractions in Viekšniai, offering a peaceful retreat by the river. Constructed in 1897 by Pranciškus Lengvenis, the mill has undergone various transformations over the years, including the installation of purification equipment, the opening of a wool processing facility, and even the addition of an electricity-generating generator in 1928, which provided light to the town. In 1999, the mill became privately owned and was converted into a small-scale hydroelectric power plant.
