Paplovinis Lake Fountain in Ignalina

The fountain in Paplovinis Lake, near the bridge connecting both shores, was inaugurated in 2006 and renovated in 2021. It operates during summer from 12:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 23:30. On sunny days, a rainbow appears in its spray, while evening lighting makes it visible from afar.
Paplovinis Lake is one of Ignalina’s most popular recreation spots, attracting both locals and visitors. The pedestrian bridge is a favorite place for tourists and newlyweds, who leave love locks on the railings. In summer, the fountain becomes a popular photography spot. Nearby stands the sculpture of Ignas and Lina, depicting the legend of Ignalina.
This lake is perfect for walks, nature relaxation, and exploring the city's cultural heritage.
