In 2016, during the "MALONNY 3" symposium, Ray Bartkus transformed a bridge support into a submarine tower. Unfortunately, in 2019, while the bridge was being expanded and reinforced, this artwork was destroyed. However, with the onset of the Russian war against Ukraine and NATO countries strengthening their defenses, Ray Bartkus decided to recreate and enhance the submarine. Now, the submarine calmly floats in the Šešupė River as a symbol of security, always ready to defend Marijampolė from potential threats.
