For me, language is a way to understand my life's journey, from my beginnings as a young Chinese woman from Hong Kong to a completely different culture in New York, where I have lived for many years.
In my artwork, the spirals, circles, and intersecting lines represent my personal experiences along this fascinating journey of life. These lines resemble the rings of tree trunks, which tell the history of the Earth. The trees growing in front of my artwork symbolize my life's path, and I believe that, after many years, their rings will tell their own unique stories.
