Created in 1976 as a graphic work, this piece has transformed into a massive wall painting in Marijampolė. At the center of the composition is the figure of a woman bending over to drive a stake, symbolically tying a cow to herself. This image represents a strong connection to the land and rural life. The idea stemmed from S. Eidrigevičius’s childhood memories in Lepšiai village near Panevėžys, and the homestead seen on the horizon is described in the artist’s poem "Giedanti gaidžio galva" ("The Singing Rooster’s Head").

Over the years, this Exlibris has been presented in various countries around the world and included in numerous catalogs and books. Today, the painted version of this Exlibris in Marijampolė may be the largest Exlibris work in the world.

The author of this drawing: Stasys Eidrigevičius.
