Also known as the former Marijonų filia, St. Vincent de Paul Church is one of the most significant sacred sites in Marijampolė. Built in 1888 as an Orthodox church, it features a Neo-Byzantine eclectic style, a single tower, one nave, and seven small turrets. After World War I, it was transferred to the Marian Fathers and converted into a Catholic church, serving the faithful until the Soviet era.
During the Soviet period, the building was repurposed as a warehouse and later as an archive. In 1924, it served as the garrison church for the 9th Vytenis Infantry Regiment. Closed in 1944, it reopened after Lithuania regained independence. Returned to the Catholic community in 1989, it was restored and, in 1990, became the first consecrated church in independent Lithuania.
